Meet the Team

Christopher is our Lead Pastor. He is passionate about the deeper work of discipleship through pastoral counseling and prayer ministry. He also loves teaching through books of the Bible and equipping people for making disciples of Jesus Christ. Christopher received a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an ordained Elder in the Global Methodist Church.

Carolyn is the founding pastor of Mosaic and has been serving this ministry since 2003. She is absolutely in love with the people of Mosaic (and she’s pretty sure they like her, too). The challenge of building an authentic missional community is the thing that gets Carolyn up every day.

Caroline is our Administrative and Communications Assistant. She has a heart to help people build relationships within our community. She also enjoys doing the behind the scenes work of the church. She loves puzzles, mysteries, and iced tea. When she’s not at Mosaic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Charles and daughter, Sara.  

Taylor is our Student Pastor. She has a passion for seeing the emerging generation on fire for Jesus. She loves ice coffee all year round, reading, student retreats, and having fun with her family!

Lineth loves babies! And she can’t wait to meet yours. She’s a natural at making our littles feel loved and at home. She always has a smile on her face and arms ready to hug. Her gifts coupled with Safe Sanctuaries training makes our nursery the warmest and safest in town.

Jenni Grace is our Family and Children’s Pastor here at Mosaic. Her heart is for seeing families flourish in Christ, life transformation, and loving people as they are, where they are. Jenni is an Augusta area transplant with thing for chai lattes, silly dancing with our kiddos, and the great outdoors. If she’s not at Mosaic, you can probably find her on her porch with her twinkly lights and a cup of tea. More than anything, she loves seeing kids fall in love with Jesus and families come alive in Christ.

Cindy is our Worship Development Director. She is passionate about worship and teaching. God has planted great riches of talent and a hunger for worship in our Mosaic community. It’s a beautiful combination! When she is not worshiping Jesus, practicing music or teaching, Cindy loves exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, playing with her pets and being a proud Mama/mother-in-love to Robert, Zoe, Beverly, James and Sam.

Zach loves serving the Lord through his gifting in technology! He’s passionate about worship and is uniquely gifted to support the worship team as the sound tech! To Zach, being Mosaic’s sound tech means that he’s able to help lead others into a beautiful space of worship. In his free time, he enjoys long hikes in nature, traveling to new places, and photography. Mosaic hold’s a special place in Zac’s heart because of the many opportunities he has to serve the community that has supported him so well.

Carolyn Sowder serves as the Mission Coordinator for The Mosaic Center, where she passionately advocates for building better lives and breaking cycles through the transformational power of Jesus Christ. Joining the Mosaic team in 2024, Carolyn brings years of experience in ministry and the nonprofit sector, driven by her deep commitment to fostering a thriving local community that empowers individuals to fulfill their God-given potential.
